Well, not quite, but I’m back from where I was. Which was London, where we went to see a concert by Bad Religion, a punk band from LA. One of the guys here is a big fan, and he converted me. So off we went for a weekend in London.

The concert was great. Bad Religion are a great live band. Unfortunately their PA broke after about an hour, so the set had to be cut short. Still great though.

Well, I’m using a combination of SharpE and Blackbox at the moment on my desktop, along with, of course, dWall for the wallpapers. Wallpapers is from animewallpapers.com, check it out for load of great wallpapers.

I took delivery of a Natural Keyboard pro today, which I am (very) slowly getting used to. It is cool, especially as it has winamp controls on it! Nice of Microsoft to make them non-mediaplayer only…

ShellON does not accept command line arguments. This has not been a problem before really, but it has come to the for recently, especially with the realease of the Blackbox shell.

I’m gonna try to find some time to add parameters to the app soon. Keep an eye out for it.

Well, I had no internet access over Christmas, I guess that I should have mentioned that. I wasn’t too organised - I only just ftp’d my code for working on over the holiday at the last minute. Would have been less than happy if I forgot that!

I just came accross this page, which is a few posts to comp.os.minix from Linus Torvalds, and some commentry by the man himself about the early development of Linux. It’s cool seeing how Linus was thinking when he began.

Not much else to say really, I don’t have any feedback on the beta I posted, so I don’t know what is happening there.
